A little about us :

Clive and I live in a spacious house in a small Swiss village, located about 90 minutes from Geneva airport/railway station and 15 minutes from Montreux. We both have a professional activity, Clive working in an international hotel school as a teacher and I, in a government office in the field of vocational guidance.

We are the foster parents of three Bengal’s: Too Sexy, Swiss Miss and Tashi Yama. Their bonding and the confidence that they reflect every day, is a source of healing and inspiration for us both. Daily life with our Bengal’s gives us privileged contact with nature. In accordance with their needs, we do everything we can to enable them to flourish in a pleasant and happy life.

Since I was small, I have always been surrounded by animals. My first purebred cat was Acaua, a handsome sable Burmese. Before him, I owned other cats that were not purebreds, but equally as beautiful and affectionate. In 2009, my husband and I fell in love with the Bengal breed at a show in Montreux and decided the following year to acquire a female cat, Too Sexy. Our Bengal cattery, PoeticPaws, was created in early 2011. Through PoeticPaws we endeavour to develop this extraordinary breed and ultimately share our passion with other people.

We also have a great deal of pleasure presenting our cats in shows and at the same time we enjoy meeting other breeders. Appreciating what happens in other Bengal catteries stimulates us and helps us progress towards maintaining the standards of this wonderful breed. We try to participate as much as possible in the gala dinners organised by different clubs during the shows. This is always an opportunity to talk about cats and meet fellow feline enthusiasts from other backgrounds. For us, breeding signifies a leisure activity. We are members of two international cat associations and two cats clubs; one specialised in the Bengal breed.
